iPod Nano for OEM MY00
I just purchased the iPod Nano and plan on hooking it up directly to the stock radio in my MY00.
I've looked above in the FAQ because i noticed there was some good responses to my question but I would like some better input.
I am looking for a cheap BUT good way to hook this up (i know cheap is not usually a way to go and i usually dont.. but i'm not looking for many features) . I think I would prefer to keep the controls of the iPod functional because I rarely look at my radio (door is ALWAYS closed). I read about a way to use the headphone out but that sounds like a shotty way of doing it.
I guess my goal is to have a hardwired solution with some sort of mount, either in the console or somewhere in that general idea and have it so i only have to hook up to the bottom of the iPod so I can still use its functions.
Please note that the FM modulator is out of the question. Not a fan at all. Not to mention... something sticking out of my lighter is ugly.
ALSO... hahaha... if anyone has some good pics of this install or after pictures with a good location for the iPod I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks everyone...
