Default Ipod Neo Prolink problem in MY06

So I started to install and setup my Neo prolink adapter today. Everything went perfectly until I was ready to finish up.

For some reason, when the adapter is installed, and I remove the key from the ignition, I get a constant ring from the car... like the lights are on... and guess what.. they were!!! All I can figure is somehow the anti-theft is going to work when the adapter is plugged into the factory head unit.

Theres the clear white plug (the one that the adapter intercepts) and then the blue plug. As soon as the blue plug is connected, I get lights on and the constant ring from the car. Disconnect it, lights off and ring goes away.

I'm going to call customer service tomorrow, but it was sunday and they're closed.

Anyone else have this problem?

Solution?

What a let down!! I was SOOOOOO ready to rock my iphone in the car...

Thanks guys,

Dave

sounds to me like the illumination wire in the radio is getting power for some reason... that's the only possible way the lights would be turning on..... It's probably bad hate to say it.

Hmmm... good call. I'll check that harness against my manual...

Keep the ideas coming!
