Kenwood Excelon KDC-X794:Does it Fit Behind Door?
Still haven't installed mine yet, but I've read phone conversations are pretty much useless with the top down. Any headunit will drive the stock speakers just fine, but you'll be much happier by upgrading the stock speakers as well. You can buy the wired Modifry DCI here. The PnP harness is for Alpine only. You'll have to splice the Kenwood. You'll probably want to buy his adapter harness as well because it has power wires for the DCI and the Honda harness you got with your headunit probably doesn't actually have the remote control wire on it as well.
Sure that harness will work, but like it says, splicing is still required: "simply splice the color-coded wires on your Crutchfield harness to the wires from your aftermarket radio [harness]." Once those 2 harnesses are spliced together you used those "combined spliced harnesses" to connect the aftermarket headunit to the factory wiring. There are no "plug and play" harnesses that I'm aware of.
Edit: The benefit of these harnesses is that you don't need to cut into your car's wiring. They're "plug and play" in that sense, but you still need to splice the 2 harnesses together. If you do get want the dash controls though, the Modifry harness has the extra remote control wire the Crutchfield and most other harnesses do not.
