Recently my left door speaker stopped working entirely... could be from the humidity this summer, not sure... I didn't hear a loud pop or anything, so I'm assuming it's the wiring and not blown... any ideas/help?

Will I need to purchase a new speaker? Or just rewire?

are you using the stock headunit? my last stock headunit the same thing happened, the left side stopped working. i changed headunits to a kenwood xxv-01d and the speaker started working again so it was the cheap stock headunit that stuffed up.
