Default Lights staying on issue

Hi,

I'm Amanda and first time posting, long time viewer. My ap2 has recently started to act up. 35k miles. The DRL lights have been turning on while no key is in the vehicle. It does not happen all of the time, but it appears to happen when I move the seat. Also, while driving the other day the security light started flashing, the horn honked, and the trunk popped- numerous relays. Have any other owners experienced this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Does your car by any chance have an aftermarket alarm system?

Some more information about the car would help. Could be some wiring issues but hard to pinpoint without knowing if the car has been modified in any way.

Only the intake has been mod. No after market alarm system. I've figured out it is something to do with the wiring under my seat, I just have to take my seat out this weekend to see what. It only happens when my seat is all of the way back.

When you have the seat out, check to make sure none of the 4 corners of the seat rail are pinching any wires under the carpet. You may also want to check under the dash just to make sure the previous owner didn't have an alarm/keyless installed. It may not have been disabled properly and is now acting up.
