My setup consists of Modifry AMPS HVAC bracket with Arkon AMPS mount and Blitzsafe stock ipod radio adapter. I love it and couldn't live without...

i really like the idea of the usaspec unit. the only problem is that i dont have the cd changer lead in the spare tyre compartment. is it easy enough to take the head unit out and plug it straight in there, bearing in mind my car is a 2002 model, which i believe is a different head unit.
many thanks

s2kphil, for 2002's: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...5&#entry7433004

Looks like the model's been updated: http://www.pie.net/index.php?page=shop.pro...emart&Itemid=40

I don't have any exposure to this product, so you'll have to research its quality on your own.

Are you sure you don't have a cd changer connector? I don't see why they would leave that out. I think mine was taped to the roof of the spare tire compartment, to the left. I had to hunt for it. It definitely wasn't visible with a cursory glance. But maybe the 2002's are different.
