whoops sorry about that man... definatly try and stick with the type r... alpine is great..... me personally... i went with boston acoustics for 2 reasons... first one.. we openeed up an account with them at my job, so they gave us great opening deals... 2nd.. they sounds prestine...hehe... but im the type of guy that always goes for the best of the best... in the end my soundsystem will total about 4000 bucks hehe... so if your lookin to get some quality stuff at a quality price.. go with alpine, and stick with those two websites i gave you ...
i did find those speakers for you for 125 though...

That is a good link but I ended up getting an even better deal on ebay. Ended up being $133 shipped. That website was 125 + 20 for shipping.

I'll hook them up to see how they sound. Then I'll probably end up putting an amp to it. A guy I work with is selling an alpine amp which is 4 X 40W RMS @ 4ohm, for $75. So I'll end up having 80W RMS to each speaker. I assume that'll sound pleanty loud for me?

Then depending on how it sounds, I'll probably add the Type R sub, the amp you suggested, and the enclosure I saw on ebay. Thanks for your help.

Still wondering where I should focus the dynamat install, or if I just need to wait to see where it rattles. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
