I know you said you don't care about voice but you might want to reconsider. I have yet to see a navi screen that is visible in day light with the top down. With my TomTom, on a sunny day, top down...the only way the thing is useful is because of voice. IMO, this is the most important part for a convertible...

I have no problem seeing my Nuvi with the top down. And the voice is simply annoying (and impossible to hear with the stereo on and the top down while at speed on the highway).

I get confused with those model # on Garmin systems. Is higher the better? There are so many of them...

Pioneer, High Resolution screen, Bluetooth, Voice Command Recognition, lane change guidance, real time traffic update, weather, entertainment, etc. Also I hooked it up to a high resolution back up camera too.

Removable from the visor to update thru USB or SD card map updates.
