Don't you have to look up everytime though? with visor mounts.

modifry 's mount
I highly recommend it.

Panavise makes great mounts but their mount for the S places it by the radio which is a bit low, IMO. Modifry's does takes a bit of work and cutting (you won't see the cut area) to install.

Voice turn by turn and lane by lane direction. As far as looking up, logical judgement about your driving conditions, I am still looking straight ahead in my line of sight.

Another happy Modifry-plus-Nuvi user here. With the top up I can use the BT to make or take calls but the speaker could be better.

DDonovan, sorry I don't have access to a camera right now. The plastic mount is good for the price, but as mentioned by others, the modifry mount is better. I had to tweak the position for it to fit on my vent.

I don't like the idea of having that piece of metal in my car though. Looks good with the navi on it but when the navi is not in the car doesn't look so good. The vent mount I assume you are using this on the side vents and not the middle ones? As they are pretty small.

I've actually been using it on the upper vent to the right of the steering wheel, but I'm going to try on the left side vent. When it rains it's a little too close to the windshield wiper lever.

I think that I have made up my mind. It came down to the Garmin 255w or the Garmin 750. I have decided to go with the 255w just becuase of the reviews it has including comparison reviews.

Any comments?
