I have a Magellan and it got me from Minneapolis to Iowa, then home to Vancouver, BC Canada with no problems! I don't know what I would've done w/o it!

Wanted to add an update for the mounts. I found a company that makes mounts that are different from the usual. This one in particular clips in beside the shifter either on driver side or passenger side and is removable. Neat idea but they want $90.00 Cdn for it. I was quoted $35.00 for the mount bracket, $35.00 for the device connector, and 15.00 shipping from Toronto.

Ya I just don't like the windshield mounts. Don't like the dash mounts either. I'm looking for something that is portable between the family van and my car but doesn't look ugly when the nuvi is not attached.

Today I went to Modifry and they have another mount there that hooks up to the radio door and it half the price.

Depends on what you're looking for. I've solely relied on Telenav on a Blackberry 8310 for thousands of miles and I have been very happy with it. YMMV.
