Not sure what all parts you need to install one there but I have seen it done. Another thing I would look out for is an "under the rearview mirror mount". I bought one a few months ago and I haven't been happy with it at all. The neck on out mirrors is tiny and even the smallest one they have (which they said would fit it) is not even close to making it a secure mount. I keep using "they" because I can't remember the company name but if I run across it again, I'll post it up.
Thanks for the help. I don't want to hardwire it because I am going to use it for my other vehicle as well. I like the idea of the rear wind screen. I imagine you could just use the suction cups and put it up there. The problem would be that you couldn't see the arrows. I wished the radar would run off batteries...

I checked the serial number after I bought it and upgrade recommendation says "you already have the best". Lucked out!

Adding the hardwire kit to your s2000 doesn't stop you from
using the V1 in another car, either also hardwired or with the
lighter plug, and it's virtually as convenient as battery-
operated.

I just need to get a short chord now but this is mine , just installed. The power is run from under the plastic cover. I used a ground source at the interior light, the bolt that holds it in. Works good.

Blendmount is one of them. I personally wouldn't recommend them but I don't care for having my RD's mounted under the RVM. YMMV, obviously. I just use the stock mount high and to the right of the RVM.

They're not mutually exclusive. My V1 is hardwired in both of our cars. I just take it from one to the other. Hardwiring it doesn't change how the power cable attaches to the V1.

No, you don't. Mike Valentine specifically addresses this. Google it.

Vote for the V!, and glad that was your choice. A RD is the kind of thing that you just have to get one of the best. Anything less simply isn't worth it. One ticket that the best could have caught, but your budget model didn't, and now it pays for itself.

I've had a V1 since the first week they were introduced. And before that, when Mike Valentine ran Cinncinati Microwave, I had Escorts. All the way back to about 1980. And before that, I had an original FuzzBuster!

Enjoy your new V1. Be sure to download the instruction manual from the website. It'll teach you quite a bit about how to interpret signals and such. And, it'll tell you how to customize it.
