Am considering the lucid set up, but am wondering if they use decent speakers or are just gouging for simply putting a hole in the rear panel.

 

I just installed mine, i don't have the lucid set up tho. Most speaker they have you can get those outside plus, their speaker are decent, not the best speaker imho. i guess if you don't want to do any cutting then go for it

most 5.25/5 1/4inch speaker would fit, i test fitted couple speaker i ended up using a three way sony speakers.

the fitment is very tight but it's not that hard but I have measurement of the rear depth and size upon request.

There's no tricks to it, just measure twice cut once.

tools: marker pen, dremel with cutting disk(medium speed for rubber/plastic), drill, screwdriver

supply: bolts, nuts, bigger washer(or mounting plate), speaker, speaker wires

i already have a small amp for the car so i didn't bridge or tap anything
