Default Mobile Cell Phone interconnect

Hi All:
My new cell phone isn't loud enough and doesn't vibrate hard enough to alert me when I drive with the stereo on. I have a little difficulty hearing so the stereo is turned up high, usually the phone is in my pocket. I did look into a car kit but this phone really had only 2 ports on the bottom one for power and the other for a headset.
What I need is a pinout for the 4 conductor 2.5 mm audio plug. running from that to the mute for the HU. Anyone had any experience with this? Connecting to the HU isn't difficult but since I retired I don't have acess to a oscillscope to check the headset I have from a previous cell phone.

OK correction. I find that the working headset I have has only 3 contacts. This makes more sense. Now all I may need is a 2.5mm 3 terminal connectoe.

When I'm driving, I'm driving. Talking on the phone in the car is a waste of time, and should be ticketed if you don't have a headset. I guess you could always duc tape it to yourself

If you just want a cell phone mute, I've been using this wireless one for years:

I don't think duct taping it will work, it's right next to my body right now and I can't hear or feel it. As to driving, what if it's an emergency call. I have received emergency calls from all over the world, Poland, Austraila (four in one night) one from India, several from the near east after Sept 11, and a heck of a lot from the US. Ironically most of them have come when I was riding my bicycle not driving. With this new phone I can't hear the rining. Sinse we stoped using pagers in faver of the cell phone it,s the cell phone. Most of the callers need immeditate help which i gave them. So I need to arange a louader ring.
