Default Modifry DCI

For the wired DCI, is it possible the change track using the factory controls IF the mode is IPOD as oppose to CD. The website only states that it's possible in CD mode. The HU that I have is a JVC.

Thanks!

On mine I just hit the mode button but I think the DIP switches may affect how the buttons work. I also have an Alpine.

I have a JVC and I just push the "Mode" button to switch to the next song and I'll hold "Mode" and pres "Vol Down" to go back but you must enable the "Tap-and-Press" dip switch
