Just wondering if MODIFRY is going to make his DCI work with the stereo jack on the new Alpine decks, so no IR is needed. I bought the PAC SWI-X and am disappointed with the functionality. So I am thinking of getting Modifry's but don't want the IR. Or if someone knows how to program the SWI-X with more functionality that would help. Thanks

 

What's wrong with the IR? Can't even see it if you install it right.

 

My deck has the option that I don't need the IR. however All of the install pics that I have seen you can see the IR. If you have a pic that shows different please post.

 

I'm sure someone can post something taken from the angle that the driver sits. You are right that when you take a photo level with the HU you will see a small nub of the IR transmitter. I just don't notice mine when I'm driving. Your mileage may vary. It's all good.
