did you adjust the sliders to the pioneer setting? There's 4 sliding switches/toggles that have to be set either up or down, depending on application. Look into the FAQ on modifry's site.

I just put mine on , it didn't work either, but then I adjusted the dip switches and the buttons started working after that. My mute button is dead though, not a fault of the dci, it is a common problem. My DCI had 8 dip switches but the instructions on the website showed settings for 4 switches, I later found alternate information on the other 4 switches and that is when it started to work.

If you have it wired properly and the dipswitches are in the proper setting then either the car remote switch is dead or the dci is deat. Unfortunately getting a hold of bob at modifry can be quite the challenge.

I have the same setup..DCI + deh7100BT working fine, so the two are definitely compatible. My mute button toggles the "attenuate" feature of the headunit rather than mute.

I'm using the "tap and press" version of the commands by the way.
