Default Modifry DCI issue

My DCI has been acting pretty weirdly lately. I'm using Modifry's Alpine DCI with his plug and play harness on an Alpine X100(red lighting, dimmer off). It started out pretty infrequently, but it's gotten to the point where it does this several times every drive. It'll be working fine, then the volume switch will start increasing the volume whether I'm pushing up or down. Sometimes it goes back to normal after a bit, sometimes the DCI stops working until I cut the power and restart. The only button that works consistently is the Mute button. The wiring is all solid, and the dip switches on the DCI are all set correctly.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm afraid that my DCI is bad, but I'm hoping there's another solution that I'm missing.

Make sure the connection to the dash wire is still good, and the plug is firmly installed into the headunit. The dash control is resistance based, so a loose connection will throw it off.

That's the green one, right? I'll go check it, thanks.

As it turns out, SgtB, you were right. The green wire was a little loose, it was merely a matter of removing it from the socket and spreading the connector a little wider.

Thanks again.
