Would you be able to run the CD Changer along with the MP3 player? Or would it be mutually exclusive (one or the other)???? Would like to be able to run my changer and do a few MP3's at times....

Thx...

Remember that there is accessory power directly below the glove box in the cigarette lighter/power outlet. It would be easy to provide 12V to the glove box then you could use whatever power adaptor you need to convert 12V to your MP3 player.

I have a Alpine CHM-S436 which plays MP3 connected to my stock HU. Two adapters needed. But it plays my MP3s......the only thing is that I dont get the text showing the name of the song...it just plays 100+ tracks....

Just another option, unless Lucid comes up with some new stuff....

I would also be very interested in an ipod to OEM headunit adapter for glovebox.

Apple does offer a car kit for $50 or so that let's you transmit music from the iPod to the car radio via FM. Not the greatest solution, but a cheap way out...

I've tried the FM solution, and never really liked it. Reception was sometimes great, sometimes lousy, always inconsistent. An AUX in would be perfect.

So, what's the prognosis, lucid?.

Count me also as a very happy iPod owner who would LOVE the opportunity to hook my favorite MP3 player to my OEM radio/CD player. I also love my dash controls. $50 or more sounds great to me.
