mts mode on Viper remote start issue
Installed viper 5706 alarm/remote start today everything went well except im having trouble with the remote start function. Automatic transmission mode works no problem. On manual transmission i go through the steps to enable mts (manual transmission mode).
1. With the engine running, press the foot brake then set the parking
brake and leave the engine running.
2 open the driver door.
3. Release the foot brake.
4. press any command button on the remote,
5. The parking lights flash five times to confirm MTS mode en-
able and the remote says remote start enabled
6. remove key from the ignition
7. close all doors
8. press the arm/lock button on the remote to shutdown the car.
Immediately after the car shutsdown the remote beeps and says remote start error.
when i disarm the car and open the door the lights flash 7 times telling me that there was a manaul mode error
my first idea is the wiring guide in the manual says door trigger + and - and required for mts. i didnt connect the door trigger + to anything since there is no + door trigger. any help would be much apreciated. thanks
