Mute Control For Alpine Hu
Since the s2k oem stereo controls are separate from the mute control, can you hook this wire up directly to a head unit that has mute input? Specifically an Alpine? Thanks...

Just for FYI sake: You can use the factory mute wire (yellow/blue) with a relay to activate the mute function on the Alpine HU with mute input. This would probably work on any HU with mute input.
