Default My S is spontaneously locking itself

So I just tried to go into my S and found it locked, which is odd because I never lock it. I got the clicker and unlocked it, and was standing nearby when I heard the locks click. The clicker was sitting undisturbed on a flat surface at this time. There is no other clicker in range that I know of. Sure enough the locks were locked. I unlocked them again, and around 30-60 seconds later it happened again. The car keeps locking itself of its own accord.

Anyone ever heard of this? I didn't find anything like this on google, at least not with an S.

Are you opening a door after unlocking? I believe it will relock itself if you haven't opened
a door within a fixed amount of time after remote unlocking, in case you did it inadvertently.

Yes, I used the clicker to unlock both doors, then I opened the driver's side door to get something out, then I closed the door, and left the keys on the top. Then while they were sitting there, the car locked itself.

Oh, and so then after the 2nd time, I used the key to unlock the door, and so far it hasn't re-locked itself.

Maybe it's like what you said, but you have to start the engine? because I didn't do that. I just opened the door, got something out, and closed the door.

There is some default logic with the key fob on locking the door. The car will relock itself if the door is not opened (or engine started) within 30 seconds. Happens to me on occasion as well.

I wonder if there is a problem with the door switch so that it isn't recognizing that the
door has been opened?
Is it the same with both the driver's and passenger's doors?
Does the dome light come on when you open the driver's door?
