you're probably better off either insulating it or buying a louder stereo. i don't recall where the thread is now, but years ago there was a pretty sizable thread on everyone trying to quiet that relay. i even seem to recall a conversation w/ modifry on how he built himself a messy little electronic relay that was quiet.
