Either the JDM Navi unit, or an Alpine (ex) Navi that you custom cut into your dash... What are you asking exactly?

I'm looking to get a navigation mounted into my dash and i haven't been able to find anything. I haven't looked that much but i thought it would be easier if someone told me where to look. I've seen one custom mounted in a magazine before but it didn't say who did it or where they got it at. I searched yahoo and found a JDM one but i couldn't find anything that had U.S Streets I'm sure there's a U.S disc i could buy for it but i'm not sure.

Do you have a link with pictures? When you say "perfect", does this mean it gets mounted into a cutout in the dash just like the Japanese Ss?

Yup...the only thing is....you have to make the cutout and the frame.

That is the Pioneer AVIC-D1 and I have it in my car. Teh Nav system is excellent and it is inside that unit - not a seperate box. The top part plays all CD types, including MP3 Discs. It has all kinds of other neat features too. I suggest pairing it with the GEX......XM Radio/Nav Traffic unit for much better Navigation and noise

Check out http://www.pioneer-itknows.com

If you purchase it before December 31st, Pioneer will rebate you $300 for the D1 and $100 for the XM/Navtraffic module.

Forgot to mention the other things you can add to it: a rear view camera, iPod, Any RCA inputing device (XBOX/PS2), DVD, multi-changer, and Pioneer is talking about making a Bluetooth box as an add-in down the road.

If you wait for two weeks I will saw you my installation of my Navigation system. I have manage to fit it but not in the dash and it looks just like it came from the factory built in the S.

Just be patient because I want to write up the whole story of the installation together with instructions, so that anyone else can do it if they wish so.
