Default navigation system question

i was looking at the pioneer avic-d1 touchscreen navigation system for my new s2000. obviously it wont fit in the stock head units area but i saw a picture of someone who had it installed to the right of the heat/ac controls in the middle of the dash. how much would it cost to have something like that done and would a place like tweeter or best buy do it?
