Default Question about adding this system into the s2k

do you think this system would be compatible with the s2k? will there be problems with the screen placement when it opens up?

its gonna be hard to see it behind the shifter, shaners placement is the best but you have to worry about glare

Yea, you are going to have to set it up like Shaner's. You will definitely not be able to bring up the screen if you placed it in the stock location. 1)It won't clear the dash, 2)It will interfere with shifting.

Swurvy,

I'm like 15 minutes away... I could give you some advice/help...

If you REALLY like the headunit, install it! I REALLY wanted the IVA-C800 and was never going to stop until I fit it in my car...

Question:
Has anybody really looked into the room that we have to do a TV in the dash. Like........distance from the inside of the door closed to the shifter in say 2nd/4th/6th/Reverse to see if there is a clearance possibility then to how far out the edge of the dash sticks vs the inside of the door to the radio.

What im getting at is that if we move the radio farther out(read modify) that there is a possibility that it will fit.........and still retain a stealth/stock look.(#1 criteria for me!)
