Did you think I was making this up? When you see smoke, something has gone past the stage at which it should be used. You made a mistake, you learned from it, now it's time to replace the damaged item before you cause damage to items further up/down the line.

you really need to throw that deck away and recheck all the wirings. If the blown fuse you mentioned about is the amp's input fuse, then you've also got a problem with the rest of your install. Fuses are there for a reason.
