Need Help Locating Keyless Entry
Where is the Keyless Entry Unit on the S2000? I am trying to rig the wires so that when I unlock my car the windows go down and when I lock the car, the windows go up. So where can I locate the Keyless Entry Unit Trigger wires? Thanx in advance
Look up, it's not behind the kick panel, it's beind the dash, left side of the steering column, way up high. If you stand on your head in the driver's floorboard, you can barely see it way up there. Keep a flashlight handy, the label says keyless entry, but it's hard to see. I had to find it when I was installing my alarm last weekend.
I found the Keyless Entry Unit, only one problem, I dont know what wires I am supposed to cut and where to lead them to in order for the windows to go up and down when I lock/unlock the car. Is it possible to do this w/o purchasing the Autoloc WC1000 or the DEI 530T?

Without the factory alarm, the wires are not installed. The good news is the keyless unit still has the functionality for it, but you have some work to do.
If you have the factory alarm, the wires you want are # 11 (green/red) and 12 (black/white). To make it easier to find, look for 2 yellow wires together at one corner of the connector, they are wires 9 and 10. The 2 next to them are 11 and 12.
If you are without the factory alarm, they are the 2 holes without wires. You can either solder wires directly to the pins on the module and run the wires out through the holes in the connector, or you can pop the clip off the module (easy) and slide out the printed circuit board and solder wires to the board (what I did).
You connect the wires to ground to unlock or lock. I don't remember which is which, but once you find them, that's easy to figure out.
