need new door speakers and tweeters
Yes I am pleased with the Infinitys. They sound great (to me) with the top up or at city speeds (say 50 or less) with the top down (they sound -different- with the top down because your "listening room" is very different and will need to be equalized a bit). At highway speeds with the top down you have to turn up the radio most of the way to really to hear them and that is where an amp would help both in loudness and in keeping the sound clean at higher volumes. On the other hand, getting it loud enough to really defeat the wind and road noises at highway speed might also mean getting it loud enough to damage your hearing. I have already done that a bit and don't intend to make it worse so I probably will just turn it off for top-down highway runs. The bass is clean and good enough for most uses but it won't go really pipe-organ low because they are after all only 6 1/2 speakers. To get deeper you really would need an amp and subwoofer setup. One alternative that might work is to put bass speakers in the panels behind the seats as almost-subwoofers. The Pioneer has settings to do that with its rear speaker outputs and it probably would not mess up imaging.
I mostly listen to classical music or modern rock and am more interested in clarity for things like acoustical guitar than in raw volume. For what its worth as a comparison, when I listened to speakers I did not care for the Polk DB6500s. I felt that they sounded 'hollow' and that the tweeters were too harsh/sibilant for my tastes. A lot of people like them, though.
The 6010cs are component speakers so they come with separate tweeters (and crossovers). The factory tweeters are each mounted (by a screw and with glue) to a metal plate which in turn is mounted by two screws to the door panel. Most aftermarket tweeters could be glued to that plate metal plate replacing the factory ones. I did not want to do that with my new tweeters because I felt that a metal plate close to their magnets might change their response characteristics. So I ended up using the plastic Infinity 'starfish' mounts that came with the tweeters, held on by one screw.
In addition to cutting the factory baskets for the woofers, you may or may not be able to use the existing screw holes. I found that when I turned the metal adapter rings that came with the speakers in different ways that they lined up with different sets of holes. Eventually, I ended up screwing the adapter rings to the factory baskets with three asymetrically placed screws. I then was able to mount the speakers to the rings with their four special little screws.

thank you for that verry usefull input rtmpaul.
i think i will go get asmall amp door speakers tweeters and a single sub. the amp is going to complicate things for me(i am a novice) so i better look into good audio shops in the area.

You could get a 4-CH amp and bridge the rear channels for a sub. You would probably need a 4-ohm sub, though, as most 4-CH amps are not stable below that. Other option would be to get an amp for the speakers (small one......some can even fit under driver's seat) and a separate one for the sub (then you could get any sub you wanted, and just match the impediance with the amp).
For the door amp, the Boston GT-22 is pretty small (and apparently good quality...I am getting one for x-mas), also the new Clarion amps are pretty tiny too (so I have heard).
For the sub....and DVC 4-ohm sub (that will fit) and a Class D amp should work.
I would NOT get the TSC series....I ahve the TSC540's in the S-pods, and they do NOT like bass. The cone is plastic, so it is fairly heavy. My buddy got a pair of the TSC650's for his Camaro, and he HATES them. They look cool, but HATE bass. The Blaupunkt Overdrive series would probably be better, as they are all shallow mount style (at least the new ones).

cool nice info.
but which will fit in the door tweeter location? keep in mind that my ride is an 05 and the tweeter housing may be difrent than the other model s2k's.

Also keep in mind you don't really have to use the 6.25 to 6.5 size speakers, I went with JL audio 5.25's (adaptor plate is included) and they sound just as good as the larger speaker.
If you are unsure of how to do any of the amp install, use a good local shop ( you don't want to fry your new car) The installation cost is minimal plus most good shops provide an install warranty.

do you work at an audio shop s2kinva?
I installed custom stereo's for about 4 years way back in the 90's and still tinker with it now.
