I was at a stereo shop today pricing door speakers. I told the salesman I wanted to get rid of (what I assumed) to be the cheap paper-cone door speakers. We went out to my car and he opened one of the doors and peered into the speaker grills. He told I might not have to replace the speakers and asked me if someone else had owned the car before me. I had never bothered to look. The speakers in the doors appear to be a glossy poly cone that are blue in color. This is not at all what I was expecting. Does anyone have a picture?

 

Ok, problem solved. I guess they are factory.

 

Yep, those are the factory speakers alright... and yes, they're worth replacing still

 

Who cares what they are? If they sound good- leave them. If they sound sucky- replace.
