New car
I just bought a 2003 S2000.Actually I had an S2000 2003 a while back which I sold. My old S2000 had a professionally installed stereo but on the new one I am doing the work myself. As a novice I hope I can do it without screwing up the job.
I bought a sony headunit and Polk db65000 component speakers.I am figuring the this will be easy enough to install. I actually have the rear speakers and custom panels from lucid but I figure they will be too tricky for me to install myself.
I am figuring that for the front speakers I can just use the original wiring.
I also want to direct wire my Escort 8500x. I have the directwire kit but are there any detailed installation instructions on this site?

Great list of How-to's. Hardwiring a radar detector is down in the Electronics section.
Don't worry about your noobness. You can do this. 4 years ago I didn't know how to turn on a soldering iron. Last night, I threw in a new Alpine deck in my wife's '93 Ranger beater in about 1/2 hour.
