Just bought my s2000, used. It has a Honda CD changer, located way back in the center console area, couldn't find an audio manufacture brand. Is this CD changer compatable with an Alpine HU, I am changing the stock unit?

And, is anyone familiar with the newer low profile, reduced mounting depth subs. Pioneer, Kicker, clarion, RF and Power Acoustick each make one. Their mounting depth is generaly less than 3cm; seems like a good fit for a sub in the passenger side foot area. Any experience?

 

Ok the CD changer I have no idea which one your talking about , but there are some interfaces out there that can adapt to aftermarket radios... I don't think so with the hondas though... as far as the small subs go, there cool and nice , but they still demand airspace sometime so dependent on which one you go with see how much it needs. I've been using the JL one with great success... pioneer i've heard once and I was 50/50 on that....
