av8tor2 - What are the inherent problems with Alpine that you are referring to? Plus, that's very nice of you to get your car a X-mas gift. I might have to do the same for my S.

Lucid - Where did you get your European spec Alpine deck? Any of the big boys (Circuit City, Goodguys, Crutchfield) have it?

thanks guys.

I had to call for some favors for from my UK friends to so I could develop a rear speaker system for their OEM cars. Since I test each and every harness I build with the radio this is must for my quality checks.

You won't get a UK radio here. Remember that the FCC dominates and sets standards.

Aznpooky (Chris)

The Ex3560 just came out for next year, so the Ex2560 are this years model. I paid right at $250.00 for the speakers and the install.

I didn't do the install myself, had the shop do it, and it took under an hour, so it has to be a simple install.

are you having an amp running the speakers or are you just having the headunit power them? also hows the bass on them? i was wondering if they hit alot harder then the POS OEM ones.

Just the POS right now. Powering the speakers...

The BASS hits a lot hard than stock. With the stock I couldn't feel it on my leg, but with this setup I can.

This is going to be three to four month change, for the stereo in my S2000. I am planning on adding an amp, and rear speakers, and a better head unit (mp3).
