The W7 IMHO would be a good sub if it was $150. For $500, there are AT LEAST 20 subs I can think of, that are FAR superior, and cost half the price. FWIW, W7s are sloppy as hell. If you REALLY want to spend $350+ on a sub, the Eclipse Ti's are better than the W7 is every aspect.

there's 2 subs that are "better" than the W7 - proven and tested other than that there isn't. Orions new sub , and MTX9800 -MTX won overall vs the W7 but lost in loudness to it. W7 10 i'll sell to you for $400 bux - retail 599 , 500/1 i'll sell to you for $400 also , retail 599.

Sounds like a pretty solid deal.

What are the differences between the two subs?

I have been looking them up and hear a lot about SQL and SPL.

I found the Eclipse for $349. I have heard a lot of people say they like one or the other.

I just want the sub that is going to hit harder and louder then the other.

It looks like they are pretty evenly matched, but what do I know, I build engines.

loudest is going to be the W7 , after that the orion is pretty sick , then RE audio , then MTX , then Rockfords stupidly priced sub , then the eclipse - not my opion it's on boards that tested the product. I sell both eclipse and JL so im not being biased towards them.
