hrm.... ok. not a bad solution, and yet -- it shouldn't be necessary.
again, i'll ask -- are you sure you're tapping off the remote amp turn on and not the power antenna lead?
still, if it isn't working, and the accessory does fine, you should be ok. it seems you're aware that the amp will always be powering up on you whenever the key is on....
