my oem-add on alarm isnt responding to my remotes or the valet button when i removed the stock radio for the aftermarket unit did that disable the honda alarm that was added on by the dealer? seems like it maybe.... i just want to have a hood and trunk activated alarm.. i know its a weak alarm but if its on the car i want it to work. It used to operated independant of the imobilizer. II could set both alarms and if you used the other alarm to unlock the door you could kick the alarm off .. pretty funny when letting someone borrow my car.. but anyways help would be appreciated. EDIT: i figured it out i just pulled the plug from the unit it reset itself and retained the codes for the remotes i didnt have to reprogram.
