Ok, I have been contemplating what direction to go with the stereo in my S. I have decided to sacrafice more of the trunk than I was previously going to. I like things overkill, so here is what I got.

I am planning on making a fiberglass box for the square woofer. I am excited because it should be a perfect fit for the trunk well. Anyway, I will add some pics after the install.
