I fit all of the criteria, except I don't have a sub and I live out in California!!!! If this comes out successful, maybe it would be something you could market??? Looking forward to the outcome.

 

UPS didn't drop off the sub today... they are gonna re-deliver tomorrow great....

 

damn this is by far the most interesting thread (along with F/I) .. so many ideas and options out there.. too bad you cant cut a hole behind the seats and put a sub behind each one.. ahhh if only car manufacturers keep these things in mind when building cars life would be grand..

 

Hey John, keep us informed...I fit the bill but I too am in CA. Black and tan interior, 12" Kicker in tool well, 750 Kicker sub amp, Polk MMC6500 and Kicker 175 RMS per channel on them.

Glad to see you're using the Kicker 6" shallow midbass. One of my good friends works for Kicker in OK and he's pumped on the speaker. It's more intended as a midbass for the doors but your idea may work out well in the S2K. I wish they had been out when I did my system and I would have a pair in my doors now. My system is only 8 months old or so and I'm not ready to tear the car apart again. My Polk's will have to do for now. I would much prefer a 3-way setup in the doors similar to the Dynaudio's.

I wanted to let you know that UPS sucks and didn't deliver my shipment... and shipped it back to the hookedontronics.com... so I wont be able to work on this project for a few weeks. I won't get it before next friday... and then I have an 8day business trip and vacation as soon as I come back... so this won't be happening until Aug now.

Sorry guys... you can all thank UPS and how retarded the employees are there. Hence the reason I no longer ship with them.

That looks sweet, but I daily drive mine and need my center compartment. I could care less about my secret compartment though. I'm really considering trying to find another blue center glove box for my S so I can try this out on it..

Please let us know how your install went man, also what sub, and what your thoughts are on it when done. In for pics because i'm curious how you mounted it in the secret compartment and are able to shut it still.
