Alpine 7894 - I got for $295 on eBay. Get Lucid to wire up a PAC SWI-X harness for ~$100 and your off and running.

Alpine

It meets your requirments, but at additional cost, and no amp. But since you will have external amps, you don't need the amp.
The CDA-7995 will run cooler in your dash (No Amp). It will wire direct into the stock harness (No amp, no direct batt power)

An best of all, a cleaner headunit, because they don;t have to stuff an amp in there, they used better stuff to build the pre-amp.

I have the CDA-7894 and love it, but If I was planing of installing amps I would have gone with the CDA-7995.

For the controls you can use the PAC or DJCube's mod. I have the Pac, and I think that DJCube mod would be a better option.

I didn't see anything about external amps?

Unless you get great pricing the 7995, external amp and dash controls will most likely exceed your $500 budget. The 7894 will be nearly plug & play. You will have to run power to the battery, configure the dash control unit (assuming you get the Lucid unit) and attach your rear speakers to the new head unit if you have them. As for the 7995 you MUST use an external amp (No built-in amp). You will then need to run new speaker wire to existing speakers or tap the radio harness for them. More $$$ and work. With the 7894 the internal amp can but shut off if you choose to upgrade to external power later on - adds flexibility.

Hey Hondafan, check here. Someone with basically the same requirements asked this question last month and got some good responses...

Thanks for the responses.

If I go with the 7893 or the 7995 do I have to keep the door open? I like to keep it closed and only open it to insert the disc and make adjustments since the door bothers my knee when it is open.

I have 2 RF Power Punch amps installed right now a 2 channel 250 watt for my stealthbox and a 4 channel 400 watt for my components
