Default Poor Radio Reception

Hey All,
Just wondering if I was the only one who had a downgrade in radio reception when I bought my Stook. I suppose there's a chance I've just got a broken antenna...

Any insight?

The S has a boosted (or ampified) antennae. You may have a broken power circuit (hot or ground) or you may just have a break in the wire between the booster and the back of the radio. Try looking behind the left side knee panel (perforated, beside back of radio) to see if you have any loose cables hanging there. If you can't see anything, take it to dealer and keep fingers crossed.

Thanks X. I've got the engineering team on it as we speak.

It depends on how weak the signal is. I have always thought the reception was a little weak. It could be normal.

During my head unit/system install, I played the radio with the antenna-mounted amplifier powered and unpowered...

no difference...
