Default Possessed '04 S2K...

So I had an interesting experience this AM... I'm hoping someone might have a CLUE as to what's going on with my '04 S2K as I'm scratching my head. I've never had a single problem with either of my S2K's (Red '01, Silver '04), but this AM I turned my '04 on and the windshield wipers all of a sudden turned on to high... even though they were "off"! I also noticed that I didn't have a speedometer, fuel gauge, tach, or engine heat. All my other dash components seemed to work, though. I also noticed that the top and windows didn't operate, the rear window defroster was on and couldn't be turned off, and finally that I didn't have power steering. I pulled the fuses for the rear defroster and the windshield wipers, but needless to say, my car isn't exactly too functional right now. I've checked every single fuse 3 times over and every one of them looks just fine. I also tried pulling the battery power to let everything "reset" but that didn't do anything either. Anyone seen anything similar or have ANY ideas?? I'm outta ideas here shy of just dropping it off w/ the dealership.

Thanks,
Jeff

Guessing you have a ground loose somewhere. When I got my car back from the body shop some years back I had some strange electronic issues (no dash/speedo lights on occasion, intermittent horn honking, etc..). Brought it back and found that one of the tail lights was not properly grounded.

A faulty alternator can make some things go wacky.

I agree with both answers, check you charging voltage but more importanatly check for loose grounds. If possible find a schematic and find the common ground point for all the affected items but check the battery first.

Good luck and don't attempt to drive like that
