Default Powering Kappa Perfects

Is 50W per channel sufficient when powering Kappa Perfect 6.1s? i mean, will you need more juice to get the full potential of the speakers? or will they sound good with 50W if you crank up the volume?

just wondering.

50 watts is the absolute minimum that Infinity states to feed these speakers. 100 watts is ideal.

So I just bought an Alpine MRV-T320 when I was looking at the specs it said
80 watts per channel so I figured I was good. It just arrived last night and the
Book that came with it said 80 watts per channel @ 14.4 volts WTF!!! how do
you do that ??? So at 12volts its like 50 watts per channel now I don't know
If I should get another one because I want sufficient power for the speakers
I don't want to get it all together and then be disappointed not sure what to do
any body got suggestions ???

Your battery provided 12v, your electrical system will provide ~13.5v to 14.5v when the car is running... So don't worry so much. Get out a trusty multimeter to check switched voltage against ground if you want an exact number.

I have the cheap Infinities in my car. 50w a channel is much much better than stock, if you want the shiite loud with the top down and driving 85mph, get 100w a channel.
