Default Proof that laser shifters work?

Do laser shifters work? Which brands? Where to buy? I've been reading and searching and just getting more confused. Any studies / tests that prove they actually work?

I don't accept stories of people saying they past cops and got stared down but not pulled over as proof...

Thanks

Do some reading here:

and here:

http://www.radarbusters.com/default.asp

I believe only the Blinder and Escort Shifter products actually work.

Short of seeing it for your own eyes - what are you looking for.

If you take the time to look at those sites there are detailed testing reports of those two units - using real cars, real speed laser, on real roads.

Sorry, posted that comment last night after MANY drinks. I thought those websites were ones I had seen before that were advertisements not studies...

Thanks for the links.

I have Escort ZR-3 on my car, and I honestly do believe it works. My most recent encounter involved me traveling at about 81 mph in a 55 zone. I knew I was about to run into the regular laser trap, but didn't really adjust my speed down. I was scanned, and both my detector and shifter went nuts. I kept moving, and was not pulled over. I have had a few more encounters very similar to this with the same outcome. The good thing about Escort ZR-3 is that it continues to shift after 5 seconds. Some other products shift for that time, and then turn off automatically. I would recommend this product without reservation. One of the best investments one could make to one's car.
