Looking forward to the pics! I took my new Sundown amp out this weekend and moved it around in the trunk, trying to get a sense of the potential fitment spots. I think I know what I'm going to do, but I'm still researching my options.

I must have missed it, but how did you wind up mounting your sub?

I know some of the corner boxes have like a metal tab that secures them, seems like they'd be mounted pretty solid.

What I do know is I want the sub in an easy to reach spot, that's quick and simple to remove it and the amp in a place with plenty of cooling that's also easy to access without any contortions.

A metal tab? Care to elaborate?

My 125 2 channel I mounted over the gas tank.
My SAX1500 I have sitting on top of the tool tray, and my tools sitting ontop of it.

I mounted my amps behind the seats inside the cabin.

I plan on putting a pair of Sundowns in (100x4 and 125x2), same locations, over this winter.

Any pics? I was thinking the same thing and as you know I have a 100.4 too. Seems like easy access, plenty of ventilation, etc., without making the cabling any more difficult.

I thought (based on a comment by someone selling one a while back) that one of the corner boxes had a metal strap at the top used to secure it.

No pics right now. I can get some tomorrow, though.

Keep in mind that I'm short and have a Recaro SPG so I don't need all the space behind the driver/passenger seat. You'll lose 1-2 clicks on the stock seat.

My passenger (i.e., the Wifey©) will have to suffer

I'm about 6-1, but I don't drive with the seat all the way back.

Actually the passenger seat is pretty much the same place I always leave it, with a good 3-4" of space. I find the 2000 has a ton of foot room, especially on the passenger side.

I really appreciate the effort on the pics. I might take my amp down and check it out behind the seat just to get an idea.

I had some of those panels pulled out when I R&R'ed my center compartment, but I don't recall exactly what would be back there for an attachment point. I guess any kind of frame/rail/brace would be good[?]

This is extra interesting, because it means I could potentially run two amps without any space issues (and then go active with a dedicated sub amp).

Exactly

Right now I just have my amps screwed to the body work back there. There's nothing behind (although I wouldn't go using a 3' drill bit either ) to hit when drilling so it's a pretty safe point.

TBH, I don't really like having the amps mounted directly to the body, I'm working on an amp "rack" for each one that would allow me to more easily install/remove the amps for track days.
