there is a switch on the amp that has 0 - 180 phase either switch to 0 or 180 what does that do? thanks for any help

 

In home theater use, the phase switch on a sub is used to set whether the sub is physically located in front of you (phase 0) or behind you (180). I've always assumed that this holds true for car audio as well. Perhaps someone else could confirm this.
