Default Question on why my headunit has a delayed start up

Sometimes when I first start my car, my headunit doesn't always power on right away. Sometimes it's instant, sometimes it varies 10 secs to 1 minute before powering up... Why?

Also, sometimes when it powers up initially, there's a HUGE CRACKLE sound from my speakers (doesn't happen every time). It's loud as hell, even when the volume is at 0
don't wanna blow my components

Is it my wiring? Bad ground?

Headunit:
Alpine CDA-9887

Amp:
Polk Momo C300.2

Speakers:
Massive Audio CK6

Install Kit:
Knuconkeptz

Everything works and sounds great. I'm just scared that occasional loud crackle on start is gonna blow my speakers

Did you install the parts yourself? Could be the wiring to various parts.
