I did a search, and just kept finding "OMG it worked" or "which is better" threads. Where are you guys mounting your laser/radar detectors? I ant something stealth. I'm leaning on the V1 and K40 Laser System, but would like to see how you guys have mounted them up. I say Rick's custom header, but it isn't available yet. Anyone else done anything custom?

 

Just a snap of where I have my SRX system. The "radar" portion is slightly behind the front plate.. Two sensors up front, one on the rear.. Read out over the steering wheel

It is the remote display/mute switch for the radar detector.

 

for radar; mount it as hi as possible.

for laser
the cops usally go for the head lights, license plate, rear view mirror, anything reflective. they can laser the rear end too.
