I currently have a Sony Explod head unit in my car as many of you know they are the worst. I have the Modifry harness does anyone know if these will work on other brands besides sony?

 

I assume you mean you have the modifry DCI?

If so, it depends on which version DCI you have. If it's a wired DCI then at best it will work on Sony and Pioneer, assuming of course that the HU has an input for a wired remote.

If you have the IR DCI then you'll have to check the label on the DCI module to see which HU brands are supported. If it's IR and you bought it after Jan 2006 then it will do 10 different HU. Earlier versions only did 3 or 4 HU.

On the other hand if you're really just asking about the harness then the answer is it can be used with any HU.
