Radio problem?
I purchased my 2002 S2000 back in Dec with ~3000 miles. Everything seems great except sometimes when I turn off the key the radio does not shut off. It is not everytime and I have not found out if it is different if the door is open when I turn off the car or if the door is closed. I guess the first question is, Does Honda have a thing where the radio stays on for a while or does it always turn off when you turn off the key? I could not find anything in the manual or when I did a search.
I do not know if the previous owner had a after market stereo in it before. Thanks for the help!

The S2000 doesn't have retained accessory power like many cars do.
If the previous owner had an alarm with a remote start, it may have added RAP to the car. I know my Clifford remote start on my beater adds the RAP.
However, if the unit was removed when he/she sold the car, it shouldn't still be there.

Thanks for the input. Today there was no problems and the radio shut off immediatly when I turned off the car. The other day I was able to remove the key, press the door lock on the keychain and finally press the unlock before the radio turned off. I am installing a CD changer this weekend, maybe I can see somthing when I pull everything apart. Thanks again!
