Regarding a 2004 CD player on eBay...

Concerning this link on eBay for a 2004 CD deck...

Can anyone comment on whether the performance improvements
of the newer design are noticable?

I think they are. When i turned it on for the first time I could tell the diffrence.

BUT it won't work on a <04 unit as the plugs are different

edit sorry i thought you meant CD changer and not a head unit

You might want to make sure that he has the anti-theft code or remember to write the serial number down and get the code BEFORE you install it
