What do you mean?

If you need the pins for the unlock/lock trigger wires, it's below the start button. You can access it from underneath the dash.

I just want to install a remote unlock system for the car, which I once read is offered by Honda as a dealer installed option.

That's where the confusion is - all US cars had remote lock/unlock standard.
You should have a key fob that locks, unlocks, opens the trunk, and has a
panic button.

I only got the key, not the fob.

Was this standard since year 2000?

Every S2K has a 2 keys, owners manual, spare with tool set, and a fob off the lot. Poor owners lose shit.

So does that mean the remote fob receiver is still operational, and if I get a replacement fob from the dealer, it should work again?
